Today we were lucky to be working in the shade of the trees at Heather Hill as the temperature reached 31 degrees!
Our volunteers still managed to get a fantastic before and after, even with very persistent ants nipping away at us.
In this heat please remember to put out a flat dish of water day and night for our local wildlife that are struggling in the current drought.
A huge thanks to Edmund, Matt, Mike, Paul and Eric for their help today on this scorcher of a day.
Assistant Ranger Bobbie.
