On Saturday 15th October Wellesley Woodlands was filled with people and dogs who were taking part in Schnauzerfest. This is held countrywide, across the weekend to raise money for charities and dogs homes. In total 47 people and 30 dogs gathered at the Wellington statue at 10.30am, ready for the walk around Rushmoor Bottom.
The walk lasted for about 40 minutes and everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. When we arrived back at the statue, hot drinks and cake were on offer, along with a raffle to help raise money.
All in all, a really enjoyable morning. If you’d to check out more about Schnauzerfest, check out their facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/SchnauzerfestUK/?fref=nf
