Last Friday Jenny, Mark and I, along with students Adam, Alan and Oscar went out to Hollybush Hill for a variety of jobs. Whilst I used the tractor to push back the bramble around the edge of the meadow and scrape the access ramps to the bridge, everyone else was busy with chainsaws and chipper.
The stand of pines has been reduced because they are shading out pyramidal and bee orchids in the meadow. These are beautiful flowers so keep an eye out for them later in the year.
