Yesterday some keen volunteers braved the forecast of heavy rain, to help out at Moor Green. Half of the 18 volunteers repaired fencing around Grove Lake to make it stock-proof for our tame moofers. The others cut back the Blackwater Valley Path and where it had become very overgrown on the bridleway. It was a surprisingly nice day out with everyone enjoying the sunshine at lunchtime. Chris also spotted a pretty fungi growing out of a gate post. A big thank you to the Blackwater Valley Volunteers and colleagues from Ihs.
